Week 6, 2018
Topic this week: Nationalities and class names.
At the moment in our little school we have students studying at Elementary, Early Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels. Some are preparing for exams and we will give more details about these in subsequent weeks. These weeks we have students from many countries; Spain, Poland, France, Slovakia and Italy from Europe. Brazil, Paraguay and Chile represent South America. From Asia we have participants from Thailand, East Timor, Vietnam, South Korea, Indonesia and China. We have just one student from Africa, Sr Adanach from Ethiopia. Students from Switzerland and Ukraine have recently completed short courses.
Every term, we have particular names for classes, and this semester we are using the names of Celtic Gods. The classes are the Sons and Daughters of Brigit, of Epona, of Dagda and of Lug. The image of this week gives an indication.
We have a very busy week planned for the period Monday February 12 to Friday February 16 with Pancake Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, St Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year. More news about that next week, bye for now.
