Examinations
Students attending the Divine Word School of English have the opportunity to prepare for internationally recognised examinations.
- Preliminary English Test (Cambridge PET). A test at intermediate level. A suitable examination for students who can use everyday written and spoken English.
- First Certificate in English (Cambridge FCE). A test at upper intermediate level. A suitable examination for those who wish to use English for work or study purposes.
- Certificate in Advanced English (Cambridge CAE). A test at advanced level. A high level qualification that is officially recognised by universities and employers.
- International English Language Testing System (Cambridge IELTS). A test designed to evaluate a language user's ability. IELTS is frequently used by educational institutions, government agencies and employers as proof of ability in English.
Please note that registration for internationally recognised examinations takes place up to three months prior to the exam date.
The registration charges for the above examinations are not included in school fees.
Short intensive preparation courses are held periodically throughout the year.
