A chance to give an update after our first insertion last week. Last weekend we had our weekend excursion, we travelled to Galway where we visited Connemara and the Aran Islands.
A chance to give an update after our first insertion last week. Last weekend we had our weekend excursion, we travelled to Galway where we visited Connemara and the Aran Islands. Because it was October, the weather was not great, however, we were very lucky on Saturday when we were on the Inis Mor - one of the Aran Islands. Some priests celebrated mass in Eochaill Church on the island - the weather was fine then and it was possible to have our picnic lunch on the beach. We then went to Dun Aengus where we had the possibility to see the magnificent Cliffs and the prehistoric fortifications. After coming off the island we had a rush back to Galway to catch a bus back to Maynooth; there were some complications on this part of the trip but all eventually went well and after a good meal in Galway the little group made their way back to Maynooth.
This week we have Brazilian music during our coffee break, we are looking forward to a Brazilian delicacy for the Friday break! This week we will be increasing our nationality mix and will have two students from Italy.
We have activated our facebook page this week and hope that it will be another way to keep in touch with people.
